I just ran across an entry on MetaFilter about a PHP script and GUI front-end some people have made to automate the process of creating those blog buttons you see everywhere.
If you’d rather avoid the vast time suckage that an addictive little toy like this can cause, you can find a repository of ready-made buttons (some of them very funny) on 0xdeadbeef.
