Feelin’ the Google Love
An unlikely search phrase has boosted me to the top of search engine rankings.
I posted an entry about a funny Flash movie in November, and since last month my site has been among the top three hits on Google for the words “wtf mate” (it was even #1 until recently, and still is on Vivisimo). I’ve gotten over 2,000 referrals from search engines by people looking for variations on that phrase. Paltry numbers for some blogs, sure, but for my little corner of the ether that’s pretty good traffic. And this for a swearing kangaroo. The web is a very strange place indeed.
