Gmail’s for Real
Looks like all the speculation about Gmail as an April Fools prank yesterday was wrong after all — the service is the real thing, according to an interview of Google’s VP of Products Jonathan Rosenberg.
Despite the overall creepiness of the “contextual text-ad” concept, I’ve signed up for an account just to see what it’s like. I’ll report back here, presuming there’s not some kind of non-disclosure clause for beta testers.
