Irony of the Day
You know those “Support Our Troops” magnetic yellow ribbons that are turning up on cars all over the country? My grandparents got one the other day, sent to them by my great-uncle on the west coast.
Turns out, they’re made in China (or Taiwan, apparently).

You know, just the yellow ribbon thingy doesn’t bother me…but the ones that say “support our troops” annoy the piss out of me. I think it’s because they seem to assume that there are some of us who don’t. Not supporting the war is a far cry from not supporting the troops. Feh.

Agreed. Given recent news, I’d say I support the troops more than the government does.
