I hope it’s good. Judging from the trailer, I think the creators will do the books justice.

If you’re looking for additional reassurance, you might want to check out this “self-interview” with the screenwriter. He seems to have proper respect for the partial script left behind by Adams and to the book itself.
Reading the book (I’ve only ever read the first), I often found myself thinking that as a book it was pretty good but would make a better movie. Let’s hope I was right.
