But rather to the point. Verizon does not support any browser other then IE for several reasons. the more browsers to support means the more they have to learn to troubleshoot. Verizon also has an affiliation with MS and thier own MS support team. And with verizon online they have had problems with other browsers not displaying properly or blocking setup sites, not just on the verizon pages but with all routers and modems as well. I'd rather use IE on their site than compromise the pop-up blocking in Firefox. FF has become popular enough that I think they can win this dispute if they don't back down. I just had a nice chat with the folks at verizon wireless. they said that they do not plan to change their website anytime soon, they are rather petitioning firefox to accept, a certain type of java pop up code.
