Paul Mathis wants you do drive him crazy, and he’s set up a web site for that exact purpose. Lights and other devices around his house are wired to his computer, and visitors to his web site DriveMeInsane.com can turn them on and off at will. Web cams are trained on the devices to capture the action.

Mathis has a page entitled “Why?!?!!” that attempts to explain the origin of the site and his reasons for doing it, but the page seems to be incomplete and doesn’t really get around to answering the question. All in all, very weird.

  2. Was it just amusement at the strangeness of it all, or did you visit the site and get some stress relief by anonymously tormenting Mathis?

    I’ll fess up — I did the latter. :*}
