2006 NASA Budget Kills Hubble Telescope

CNN.com reports that next year’s budget for the US space agency makes no provision for repairs to keep the aging Hubble Space Telescope operational. A focus is being placed instead on the goal of putting astronauts back on the Moon by 2020.
