It’s a blog. About free fonts. As if the eleven hundred I already have wasn’t enough.

Don’t they have support groups for people like me?

(Props: Geek Grrl. Damned enabler. ;-) )

  6. Swiss 721 is a Bitstream font family, and is not available for free. You can purchase it from MyFonts.com, which is where I get most of my non-free fonts. Unfortunately, the only way to get the particular font you want is by purchasing it as part of the whole Swiss 721 Condensed group for $99.

    For that price, you might be able to get some of the Swiss 721 fonts as part of a software package that includes them. I think some Corel products, for example, may include this font. Another program that offers some free fonts (and costs only $80) is the vector graphics editor Xara Xtreme. Compare prices of the software against prices for the font package, and e-mail the company’s tech support or sales departments if you have specific questions about what’s included.
