According to the press release, it’s coming in May to the U.S. and in May/June to the rest of the world.

As for the Macromedia line, I haven’t heard anything myself. Last rumor I heard was that they were considering Linux compatibility for their product line-up.

I shelled out for the Dreamweaver MX 2004 suite a while back, and have gotten the most by far out of Fireworks and Flash. I’ll definitely keep my eyes peeled for the next version of Fireworks in particular.

I’m not sure.. something to do with European laws, all I know is that it will be expensive… any idea on an actual release date? I heard Macromedia are also working on their new line of MX products?

Yikes. At today’s exchange rate, that’s about $282 — almost twice the price!

Why the big price hike? Is there some kind of import tariff or something?

Sweet! Nice catch Adam, though I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford this at first.. I’m on CS now and love it to bits, but the new version does look good… also you americans get it good, it’ll likely be the same amount in pounds when released here, which is a lot more than your retail price in comparison,
