You can download the demo version from the article I linked to, or <a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jsp#product=39" title="Adobe product tryouts (download Photoshop CS2 from Adobe's web site)" rel="nofollow">directly from Adobe's web site</a>. I recommend going through the Photoshop News article, however, since it allows you to skip Adobe's annoying registration process. As long as your computer meets the system requirements given by Adobe, you should be able to download and run the software just fine.
