Haiku for a Winter’s Day
Outside my window,
Ten inches of purest white.
I sigh: “Winter sucks.”
Last year was so mild.
Global warming giveth, and
It taketh away.

Me, I’m loving the snow we finally got today. And there’s bright blue sky, so I am very energetic right now!

Some people really dig winter, but it’s not for me. I have fond memories of the snowy Kansas winters of my childhood, but living in southern California for a few years turned me into a warm-weather person for good.
Glad to hear that you’re doing well, though. Here’s wishing you more sunny days, winter or otherwise.

Snow Haiku from my friend Tara
Snow falls, makes me sad
Since I hate to drive in it
Maybe it won’t snow
