New Auction: PCMCIA Ethernet and Wi-Fi Cards in Lots of 50

I’m selling a bunch of used PCMCIA network cards on behalf of my school’s IT department, and I get a cut of the proceeds and reimbursement for my eBay fees. The cards come in two lots of 50. There are Xircom model RBE-100 Ethernet adapters (no dongle required) and 3Com model 3CRSHPW696 802.11b Wi-Fi cards.

All of these cards come from the college’s student laptop program, and they all worked at the time they were removed from the computers. Since they’re used, however, they are being sold as-is.

If you’re interested, or know someone who might be, please go check it out. The prices are very reasonable.

One More eBay Thing

Forgot to mention that there’s also one unusual addition to this particular auction lineup: a 52-piece Homer Laughlin china set that I’m selling for a coworker of mine. It’s an Eggshell Georgian set with the Bombay pattern. It’s in great shape, so if you’re into that kind of thing be sure to take a look.

90s Vinyl Special in ‘Auctions’

I’m a little late on the announcement, but the 90s records I spoke of last week are up for bid on eBay. See the auctions section of the site for more info and to get a look at what’s available.

There are two things you won’t see on this list that I mentioned in that earlier post: the Nirvana and R.E.M. maxi-singles were my first attempts at using Buy It Now on eBay, and boy did they ever. Both auctions ended in the first 48 hours when people snapped the records up for the higher Buy It Now price rather than placing a regular bid. This is definitely an eBay feature I’ll be making use of again in the future!

90s Vinyl For Sale Soon

Sorry for the long absence, but I’ve been busy with the usual holiday hoopla and doing a house-sitting stint for Bill until his house sells (the insurance company won’t cover a vacant house, so…). I am still alive and well, and hope to be blogging more frequently in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, I’m going to be working like crazy to get more auctions on eBay for all those eager Christmas shoppers out there. My next round of auctions will include a 90s Vinyl Spectacular (so cool it needs capital letters). Bill’s got rare 12-inch promotional singles from Nirvana, Temple of the Dog, R.E.M., Sir Mix-A-Lot, Tool, and others. These will all be going on sale at the same time, probably starting at $3 or $4 each. Calling all nostalgic gen-Xers!
