I suppose it is more of a nouveau-punk look, but like I said it’s not his usual style. He’s probably not as well-versed in the details of emo fashion as those who are dedicated to it. Ashamed for me? I’m not the one in the picture, just the one behind the camera. My costume was actually worse — I came as a dorky tourist. Two cameras, Hawaiian shirt, sandals with socks, bad sunglasses, zinc oxide on the nose… the works.
